We participate in the Electronic Residency Application Service (ERAS) and the NRMP Pediatric Specialties Fall Match. For the July 2022 start date, applications and interviews will take place in the fall of 2021.

Documents to be submitted through ERAS include:

  1. Common Application Form
  2. Personal Statement
  3. Medical School Transcript
  4. Medical Student Performance Evaluation (MSPE; Dean’s Letter)
  5. Transcript of USMLE Scores (and/or COMLEX scores, if applicable)
  6. Three Letters of Recommendation (one of which is from your residency program director; for MD/PhD applicants, one letter should also be from the thesis advisor)

Upon review of each ERAS application, selected applicants will be extended invitations to schedule interviews. In coordination with the Association of Pediatric Program Directors, the Council on Pediatric Subspecialties, and the Pediatric Infectious Diseases Society, we had an entirely virtual interview process for the 2021 start date. Plans for 2022 have not yet been finalized.

Foreign medical graduates must be certified by the ECFMG and have completed residency training in an accredited United States or Canadian general pediatric or medicine-pediatrics residency program to be eligible to apply.

We appreciate your interest in our Infectious Diseases Fellowship Program and look forward to reviewing your completed application.
