We participate in the Electronic Residency Application Service (ERAS) and the NRMP Pediatric Specialties Fall Match. For the July 2025 start date, applications and interviews will take place in the fall of 2024.
Documents to be submitted through ERAS include:
- Common application form
- Personal statement
- Medical school transcript
- Medical Student Performance Evaluation (MSPE; Dean’s Letter)
- Transcript of USMLE Scores (and/or COMLEX scores, if applicable)
- Three letters of recommendation (one of which is from your residency program director; for MD/PhD applicants, one letter should also be from the thesis advisor)
Begin your ERAS application
Upon review of each ERAS application, selected applicants will be extended invitations to schedule interviews. In coordination with the Association of Pediatric Program Directors, the Council on Pediatric Subspecialties and the Pediatric Infectious Diseases Society, we will have a virtual interview process for the 2025 start date.
For the Fall 2024 application season, initial interviews will be a half day by Zoom from mid-August through mid-October. You will have the opportunity to meet with the current fellows in the evening on August 7, 14, 21, 28; September 11, 25; or October 9. We will offer in-person “second look” visits on November 1, 4, or 8, 2024.
Foreign medical graduates must be certified by the ECFMG and have completed residency training in an accredited United States or Canadian general pediatric or medicine-pediatrics residency program to be eligible to apply.
We appreciate your interest in our fellowship program and look forward to reviewing your completed application.
Please be sure to review our Washington University Graduate Medical Education policies.
